Boring and Uninteresting

That’s something my mom would say about people who didn’t have, what she called, a curious mind. I used to think it was pretty harsh but now I get it. With a curious mind you seek out other points of view and expand your understanding on the world around you and the history of the world. Without a curious mind you peak when the external motivation for learning and growth stopped and decline the further away you get from say college graduation or high school graduation.

How does someone develop a curious mind? For me I read, a lot. I read about a lot of different things via books, blogs, magazines etc. I also people watch and take notice of what they wear, what’s printed on their shirts, bags and even how they dress. People express themselves in so many different ways if you pay attention.
