A Moment

I was out looking for something in my shop this morning and had a bit of a moment. I saw this old leather conditioner that was in my dad’s shoe shine kit. I remember it being there for as far back as I can remember so I’m pretty sure it’s at least as old as I am, maybe older.

It made me think of him and miss him. It also reminded me that i don’t have any living parents anymore. I’m not alone in this world but I certainly wish my parents were still around in the same healthy state they were when I was a kid. I’ve learned so much about myself since they’ve been gone and, honestly, I have more questions for them now than when I was a kid, teen, hell even as an adult.

Anyway, it’s also a pretty cool bottle because I’ve also reached the age where old bottles are cool to me! 😆
